Drugged Up

I realize that it has now been months since I posted. Life caught up to me and dragged me along a slow and painful path. But this weekend, my slow and painful path is recovering from getting my wisdom teeth taken out! I'm so bored I actually remembered this blog that I started a few months ago. Who says idle hands do the devils work?? To get on with the actually funny part of this....pictures!! Yeah....I'm still figuring out this whole posting thing. I realize the pictures are all out of whack. Maybe sometime when I'm not on a bunch of drugs (a.k.a. painkillers) I'll take the time to actually figure it all out. Oh well. Live with it.

Back to Business

After a few days off (and a much-needed break from school!) I am back with more pictures that are sure to cheer you up.
And now, a video of a song that makes me very very happy: Small Sad Sam

Get used to the Randomness

Today, October 16th, is World Food Day. This has nothing to do with the rest of this post.
I'm pretty sure that is why my family has never camped.
I'm just trying to be nice, guys.
Creeper...
This picture always makes me laugh so hard.

Let's Have Some Fun!

To get things rolling, and not just leave my awkward introduction-and-backstory up as the most recent post, here is the very first "cheer-up blogpost." The way these normally go is I post a bunch of pictures. Sometimes a video or a funny story, but mostly pictures. And more pictures. I think you get the idea. Most pictures are found on Pinterest. Others are found on other websites. I'll just get to the pictures now.
This is the Internet, people, so we have to start with a cat picture.
Spongebob is good, too.
This is not my only "how-to" picture I will be posting.
Yeah.
So, that's what this is like. More later.

By Way of Introduction

My name is Rose. I'm a Junior in high school. I'm really bad at introductions.
There is a little story behind this blog. Last year, around this time, I was in a play for drama class. My friend, Sam, was given the character of a super grumpy old man. I took it upon myself to help him get into character by doing anooying little things and basically being an all-around pest. I felt horrible about it, and decided that to make things better, I'd follow up with a "cheer-up" email. The first was wildly successful (I exaggerate only a little bit) and, I believe, he requested another one the next week. And the next. Soon I was sending him a regularly scheduled cheer-up email every Friday afternoon. To date, I have sent approximately 25 emails to Sam, as well as numerous to other classmates who have requested them on down days.
After this week's, Sam told me I really should get paid to send the emails. When we couldn't come up with a feasible way for me to make a job, much less an entire career, out of cheering people up, he suggested a blog. I thought it was a pretty good idea, so here we go!
